When it comes to insurance, we know customers have more options than ever before. So we’re asking for their thoughts to help us drive customer success!
Beginning in October, we’re reaching out to randomly selected customers to get their opinions on insurance and experiences with Westfield. We’re gathering insights to open an ongoing conversation about how to improve what’s most important to our shared customers. And learn how we can be more strategic with our brand efforts to help drive sales and retention for your agency.
If your customer receives a survey and reaches out to you with questions, here are some additional details:
- The online survey will be open to Westfield customers from October 5 to November 9, 2020.
- Customers will receive the survey from our Westfield’s Customer Panel email.
- Please assure them this survey is valid and is for research and planning purposes only:
- Participants will not be solicited with sales or promotions as a result of their participation.
- Responses are kept confidential and anonymous and are reported in aggregate.

The 2020 Agency Universe Study is Underway!
Beginning on September 17, independent insurance agencies all over the U.S. began receiving email invitations to participate in the 2020 Agency Universe Study. Every two years, we partner with the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America, Inc. (the Big I) to conduct this important research to gauge the health and stability of the IA channel. We recognize that this is a challenging time for agents and their clients. In the current environment, your input is more important than ever as the industry seeks to understand the current situation and your outlook. We recognize that you are very busy, and this survey requires a sizable time investment. This critical research is only conducted every two years and is the seminal research on the state of the independent agency system. Your input is crucial.
Your cooperation will provide critical information for independent agencies, the IIABA, and independent agent carriers. Please keep in mind that your answers are confidential, and your opinions and best estimates are crucial to the success of this research for all interested parties. The survey is designed to take approximately 20 minutes to complete. In appreciation of your participation, completing the survey will make you eligible for a drawing for one of several cash prizes!
