Attacks targeting home and small-office routers are currently redirecting online browsing activity to malicious COVID-19 sites.

Recent reports indicate that at least 42,578 “covid” or “corona” domains (web site addresses) have been registered in the last month. Hackers use these domains to host web sites and provide email addresses with official sounding titles – even though they could be used for nefarious purposes.
