No, the LeakBot program does not impact your homeowners coverage or premium. Westfield does not currently offer a discount with the free LeakBot device and service.

Download the LeakBot app from the App Store or Google Play and activate your account. Then, follow the step-by-step instructions to locate your main water supply and clip the LeakBot to the pipe. Read the installation guide for more details and contact LeakBot support if you have questions. 

When installed correctly, LeakBot monitors your internal main water plumbing system for water leaks. It will not detect wastewater leaks or leaks in a closed system, such as central heating.

No, the LeakBot program and any related repair services are intended for non-weather-related water losses. Storm or flood water damage is not included.

If a leak is detected, LeakBot will notify you through the LeakBot app. You may also receive alerts by text message and email.

A trained LeakBot plumber will arrive at your scheduled time wearing a LeakBot uniform for easy identification. The plumber will locate and repair any covered leaks detected by LeakBot.

If the issue is not covered, such as repairs requiring parts costing over $250 or work involving restoration of water-damaged areas (drywall, flooring, etc.), the plumber will explain the situation and provide options. You’ll receive a quote for any additional work and can decide whether to proceed.

Please note: LeakBot plumbers do not provide emergency services.

Yes, but it is at your expense. If the leak is hidden, it may be difficult for a plumber without our patented leak detection equipment to locate the problem.

Once the leak has been addressed, the LeakBot app will ask you to confirm the problem has been fixed and will monitor your plumbing to confirm everything is back to normal.

Westfield and LeakBot take no responsibility for third-party plumbing repairs.

The LeakBot repair service covers labor and materials needed to repair low-flow leaks, such as pipes or fixtures, subject to a $250 individual parts limit.

Yes. LeakBot uses multiple layers of security to help safeguard information and protect your privacy. Please refer to Leakbot’s Privacy Policy for more information.

LeakBot measures both the air and water temperatures in your plumbing system to detect leaks accurately. The data collected is used only to identify potential leaks and support repairs.

Information you provide during app registration, such as your property address, along with leak events detected by your LeakBot device and completed repairs, will be shared with Westfield. This information is not used to determine insurance rates, coverage, or policy renewal eligibility.

Your data is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Yes, you may opt out of the LeakBot program at any time. The device and service are not transferable to other homes or policyholders. Please refer to LeakBot’s terms and conditions for details.

Prior to the end of the initial two-year period, Westfield will communicate any potential program updates. There is no obligation to continue the service.

*The Westfield LeakBot program provides eligible homeowners with a free LeakBot smart water leak alarm and unlimited free repair visits from a LeakBot plumber for any leaks identified by the LeakBot smart water leak alarm during the first two years of the program. Free leak repair visits include labor, parts, and taxes with no hidden costs or fees during the initial two-year period. However, any individual part costing over $250 will not be covered. Program benefits are subject to the homeowner’s continued status as a policyholder of Westfield and Westfield’s continued relationship with LeakBot. Westfield is not responsible for the functionality of the LeakBot device or the LeakBot repair services.
