Understanding Your Bill

Depending on your policy, your bill will appear in one of two formats. Review the sample bills below and select the one that matches your bill for detailed explanations of important features:

Version 1

A two-page bill with the Westfield logo in the top left corner of the first page. If you are a personal lines policyholder, this is likely the format you will receive.

Version 2

I recently made a payment online, but it is not showing up. Why don’t I see it?

Payments may take up to 24 hours to appear. If you still don’t see your payment after 24 hours, please call us at 800.243.0210, option 2. You can reach us Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST.

When will my automatic payment go through?

Online payments, including Westfield Easy Pay recurring payments, may take up to 24 hours to process. To view your scheduled payment date, check the billing section of your MyWestfield account.

My payment is past due. What should I do?

Pay your bill as soon as possible using one of our convenient payment options. To avoid missing payments in the future, consider signing up for Westfield Easy Pay recurring payments.

Why did my amount due change?

The amount due can be impacted when changes are made to your policy, or a fee is incurred.

When does Westfield charge a late fee?

Westfield charges up to a $30 late fee if an outstanding bill is not paid by the due date and a direct notice of cancellation has been issued. To avoid late fees, consider enrolling in Westfield Easy Pay recurring payments through your MyWestfield account.

Does Westfield charge a non-sufficient funds (NSF) fee?

Yes, if your payment is returned unpaid for any reason, Westfield may apply a returned payment fee to your account. The fee can be up to $25, depending on your state.

When does Westfield charge a billing installment fee?

Depending on your payment plan, you may incur a billing installment fee:

Annual: no installment fee
Semi-annual: no installment fee
Quarterly: $6 per bill
Monthly: $6 per bill

If you have more than one policy with Westfield, you can combine them into a single billing account to avoid multiple fees. Additionally, enrolling in Westfield Easy Pay recurring payments may help you avoid installment fees, depending on your policy type.

How do I set up text billing alerts?

To set up billing alerts, enroll in Pay by Text in your MyWestfield account. This enables text notifications, so you’ll receive reminders and can even make payments directly from your phone.

What is a premium audit?

A premium audit is completed after the end of a policy period to determine the final premium for your commercial insurance provided by Westfield. An audit doesn’t always mean a higher premium. There are a variety of scenarios that could result in a reduction of premium and money back in your pocket.

Does Westfield charge a fee when making a payment with a credit card?

Yes, if your payment is charged to a credit card, a fee of up to 3% may apply, depending on your state.
