WESTFIELD CENTER, OH – October 13, 2020 – The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) recently announced Mike Prandi, Chief Insurance Operations Officer at Westfield, as their new Vice Chair for 2020-2021.  

A 30-year veteran and leader in the insurance industry, Prandi is dedicated and passionate about shaping the future for mutual insurance companies. “I am honored to be part of an organization that serves in the best interest of mutual insurance companies,” said Mike Prandi. “Together, we as a group, are committed to supporting and better serving our policyholders and communities where we do business.”

The Vice Chair functions as the association’s officer-in-reserve and supports the current Chair and Chair-Elect as they work to achieve association goals and objectives. The Vice Chair stands ready to fill either position of Chair or Chair-Elect as circumstances warrant.

As Vice Chair, Prandi will serve on the following NAMIC committees and boards:

• Audit/Finance/Risk Committee
• Compensation Committee
• Governance Committee
• Nominating Committee
• NAMIC Mutual Insurance Foundation Board of Trustees
• Political Action Committee (PAC) Board of Trustees

Prandi has served on the PAC Board of Trustees since 2017 and was Chair in 2019.  He is also the PAC Representative Director for the NAMIC Board of Directors from 2018 – 2020 prior to being elected to the Vice Chair position.
