Westfield Welcomes Greg Garrett As Diversity & Inclusion Operations Leader

WESTFIELD CENTER, OH – January 6, 2020 – With a dedicated focus on listening, learning and making meaningful changes to accelerate and expand Westfield’s diversity and inclusion (D&I) efforts, Greg Garrett joins Westfield as Diversity & Inclusion Operations Leader.  In this leadership role, Greg will continue to strengthen Westfield’s D&I outcomes and strategies in the areas of workforce, agents, customers, communities and suppliers.
 
With more than 15 years of D&I experience, including eight years in diversity and multicultural roles, Garrett will oversee all D&I programs and initiatives and further Westfield’s culture of inclusiveness and performance. Garrett’s leadership will help shape strategies that ensure a diverse team of talented people at Westfield and increases the number of customers.  In addition, through his vast experiences and enthusiasm, Garrett will champion the “power of each” at Westfield, bringing structure to programs that appreciate differences and celebrate the uniqueness of others.

Prior to joining Westfield, Garrett led strategic initiatives increasing cultural competence, employee engagement and driving incremental revenue growth in targeted customer segments at State Farm. In addition, he has improved processes for successful inclusion programs and developed tools to measure effectiveness. He brings expertise in leveraging national, regional and local organizations and business resources for recruiting and multicultural growth.

Greg received a B.S. in Marketing from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is on the executive board of his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi that has a strong mentoring program designed to raise scholarship funds for participating students.
