Legacy of Caring
The Holgate Volunteer Fire Department recently received a grant for $9,000 from the Frost Insurance Agency and Westfield Insurance Foundation as part of the Westfield Legacy of Caring program.
Each year, Westfield independent insurance agents are invited to nominate a local nonprofit for the program. Frost Insurance Agency is one of 88 agencies in 17 states donating as part of the Westfield Legacy of Caring grant program.
Tim Kelly, Holgate Volunteer Fire Department fire fighter and secretary of the local firefighter’s association and Holgate Volunteer Fire Department Chief Mike Gustwiller said the department plans to use the grant for the purchase of new thermal imaging cameras.
