What have you learned about Innovation?
It is a tremendous growth opportunity for anyone who is open minded and willing to learn! From new lingo, to new software and new apps, to new ways of thinking and constant collaboration, my mind has become a sponge. The ways of working and new ideas are things I wish I had in my toolbox years ago!
What pieces of your past experiences are you able to bring to the team?
I have worked in a couple different industries, but throughout my career, I have interacted with companies of all sizes, many different industries and leaders at all levels. Plus, living in and traveling to many places in the US and in Europe for work provided experiences that I can evoke during our ideation sessions.
Any cool experiences you would like to share?
Honestly, I have been very fortunate to have had a plethora of cool experiences – almost too hard to pick one. So, I will give two – being involved in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland is one that not many people get to experience. Very cool interactions with world business leaders. Second, I will never forget the time that Mr. Palmer (Arnold Palmer*, that is), offered me a ride on his private plane when returning from a golf outing. He flew the plane, with his co-pilot, so I sat alone in the woodgrain and leather cabin. But it was awesome and one that I have never forgotten!
