What attracted you to 1848 Ventures?

I was drawn to the opportunity to work with a team of highly engaged professionals who are comfortable pushing boundaries and learning by doing. Also, I appreciated the opportunity to expand my design thinking capabilities through our partnership with IDEO. Overall, it is an exciting time for the insurance industry.

If you weren’t doing what you do today, what other job would you have?

If I could take a spin with Marty McFly in the time-traveling DeLorean, I would be a behavioral scientist. In today’s digitally connected society, I believe that behavioral scientists now have the data, tools and capabilities to be the world’s ultimate futurists and problem-solvers. With so many societal challenges being linked to lifestyle, habits and unconscious biases, for me, the range of possibilities to make a significant positive impact in the world appears endless.
