Westfield Group is pleased to announce the election of Ed Largent as President of Westfield Financial and Westfield Services. Westfield Services is an agency-related financial services business and is part of Westfield Financial, a stock-holding company.

These appointments are in addition to his Chief Administrative Officer position for Westfield Group. Ed is responsible for corporate oversight of human resources, information technology, training, investments and the internal audit department, as well as the Ward Group, an insurance industry consulting and benchmarking business.

Ed was the Chief Technology Officer from June of 2005 until February of 2009, when he assumed the Chief Administrative Officer position. He joined Westfield in 1986 as a systems programmer and has held a number of positions in the information technology area that have involved working with almost all Westfield business units over his twenty-two year career.

Ed participates as Treasurer for the Wayne County, Ohio Habitat for Humanity organization, and as a member of Bowling Green State University?s College of Arts & Sciences Advocates Board.
