Westfield Group's Jani Groza Received Women of Achievement Award from the Women's Network of Northeast Ohio


AKRON, OHIO, May 19, 2014 - The Westfield Group, a customer-focused insurance and banking group of businesses with a commitment to service excellence provided by an exceptional team of diverse people, announced that Jani Groza, community investment leader received the Women of Achievement Award from the Women's Network of Northeast Ohio during the annual Women of Achievement Awards Luncheon at the Hilton-Akron/Fairlawn on May 16. During the luncheon, Krista Dobronos, senior vice president, market leader, Westfield Bank and Tammy Starkey, vice president risk management officer, Westfield Bank, were also recognized as Women of Professional Excellence.

As Westfield's community investment leader, Groza serves as the executive director of the Westfield Insurance Foundation and oversees corporate citizenship and philanthropic efforts including strategic giving initiatives and employee volunteerism. Prior to joining Westfield, she held a variety of leadership positions with the
American Cancer Society-Ohio Division and the United Way Services of Cleveland/United Way of Medina County.

Groza currently serves on the board of directors of the Greater Medina Area Chamber of Commerce, Fund for our Economic Future, Habitat for Humanity of Ohio, the Medina County Police Athletic League and also served as the past president of Leadership Medina County and former board member of Hospice of Medina County. She earned a bachelor's degree in childhood development and family services from Ashland University.

As Senior vice president, market leader, Westfield Bank, Dobronos is responsible for leading sales efforts in the Akron region. Prior to Westfield, she was a vice president, commercial lending at CFBank. In all she possesses more than a decade of banking and management experience.

Dobronos earned her bachelor's degree in business marketing and economics from Kent State University and currently serves as a board member of the Greenleaf Family Center, Akron Area YMCA and the Akron General Hospital Foundation. In addition she is a member of the Ohio Bankers League, Community Bankers Association of Ohio, Risk Management Association and the Greater Akron Chamber.

Starkey oversees the enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance functions of Westfield Bank. Before that, she was the senior internal auditor. Prior to Westfield, Starkey worked in various auditing roles for several banks in Northeast Ohio.

Starkey earned her Masters of Business Administration from Malone University and her bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Akron.
