Ed Largent, Westfield Insurance President, CEO and Board Chair

Largent joined the Company in 1986, has been President of Westfield Insurance since 2011, and was appointed CEO and President of Westfield Group in July 2015. In this role, he leads Westfield’s multi-line, regional property and casualty insurance and surety operation with $1.9 billion in revenue and over $6.3 billion in total assets. In 2016, he was named Chairman of Ohio Farmers Insurance Company (parent company of Westfield Insurance and Westfield Bank, FSB). Largent’s prior leadership roles include Group Administration Leader and Chief Technology Officer.

Throughout his career, Largent has demonstrated success building and leading teams focused on operational performance improvements, cultivating strong distribution relationships, investing in critical capabilities and enhancing the quality and depth of data and analytics to improve business performance.

Largent’s diverse background is also exemplified in his volunteer activities, as he serves on the boards of a variety of trade associations and non-profit groups, including Trustedchoice.com, the Insurance Information Institute, ideastream®, Northeast Ohio’s unique model of public service media, the Cleveland Leadership Center, the Playhouse Square Foundation and the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America.

Largent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University and is a 2008 graduate of the Executive Institute at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.


Frank Carrino, Corporate Counsel and Secretary

Frank assumed the role of Group Legal Leader, Corporate Counsel and Secretary in 2003 and is responsible for leading Westfield’s legal affairs. He has oversight of corporate compliance, internal audit, government relations, and community investment. Before joining Westfield, Frank served in various leadership positions in a national insurance practice with Price Waterhouse Coopers and regionally with Ernst & Young in Columbus, Ohio.

Frank holds a B.A. from the University of Akron, Juris Doctor from the University of Akron Law School, and LL.M. (Master of Laws) from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1987 and is a CPA (inactive). He was an adjunct professor of law at Capital University Law School from 1994-1999.

Frank serves as Secretary on the Ohio Farmers Insurance Company Board of Directors and also serves on the board of directors of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce and Medina Hospital Foundation.




Robyn Hahn, Group Marketing and Communications Leader

Robyn assumed the role of Group Marketing and Communications Leader in 2015 and has overall responsibility for the planning, development, implementation and execution of Westfield Group’s marketing, branding and communication activities.

Robyn joined Westfield in 2015 after working for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, where she served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Prior to that, she held a series of senior marketing and customer experience positions at The Travelers Companies, Inc. Robyn also served in a variety of sales, service operations, marketing and customer experience leadership roles during her time with Nationwide Mutual Insurance Companies. In total, she has over two decades of marketing, communications and sales leadership experience.

Hahn earned her Bachelor of Science in business from the University of Phoenix. In addition, she is a Fellow of the Life Underwriter Training Council and a graduate of the Executive Development Finance Program at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.

Joe Kohmann, Group Finance Leader and Treasurer

Joe assumed the role of Group Finance Leader (CFO) and Treasurer in 2011. In this role, Joe is responsible for the finance, accounting, corporate planning, risk management and investment functions at Westfield. Joe joined Westfield in 2000 as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Westfield Bank. Prior to joining Westfield, he was the Chief Financial Officer of a privately held group of manufacturing companies based in Akron, Ohio, was the Assistant Corporate Controller at Austin Powder Company and auditor in the Cleveland Office of Ernst & Young LLP.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and graduated from the University of Chicago Booth’s Advanced Management Program in 2012. Joe is a licensed CPA in the State of Ohio and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Executives International.

Joe currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Medina County Economic Development Corporation, the University of Akron College of Business Advancement Council and The Trinity Rose Foundation Board of Trustees. Joe is a 2006 graduate of Leadership Medina County and a member of the Leadership Cleveland Class of 2015.


Christopher Paterakis, Group Human Resources Leader

Chris began his career in 1992 as a claims trainee in Westfield's company basic school and has held roles in claims, human resources and commercial lines over his 17 years at Westfield. He spent 18 months as the Business Intelligence Program Manager in 2006 and 2007. His latest role was as Executive – Commercial Lines Middle Market where he led the commercial lines teams in Tennessee, West Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and MBA degree from Baldwin Wallace University and is a member of the Business Honor Society. Chris also holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation from the Society of Human Resources Management.

In 2015, Chris joined the Griffith Foundation Leadership Council. Chris has also been an advisory council member of the IIRC (Insurance Industry Resource Council) since 2013. Chris also serves as an advisory council member on the Baldwin Wallace University Center for Innovation & Growth. The Center for Innovation & Growth (CIG) prepares tomorrow's leaders to change their world as students learn – and practice – skills in creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.




Mike Prandi, Insurance Operations Leader

Mike assumed the role of Insurance Operations Leader in 2015 and is responsible for the delivery of sales and services capabilities across the insurance operation. He provides executive oversight to the personal lines, small business accounts, commercial middle market, specialty underwriting and surety operations, as well as claims functions.

Mike joined Westfield in 1989 and held the position of National Claims Leader since 2007. During his Westfield career, he has served as a Service Office Manager, Regional Executive, Executive Director of the Large Loss Unit, and Senior Executive-Complex Claims & Litigation Management.

Mike received his undergraduate degree from Ashland University and master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University. He has also earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Associate in Claims, Associate in Insurance Services, Senior Claim Law Associate and Associate in Reinsurance professional designations. He has been a member of the National Insurance Crime Bureau Board of Governors since 2008.

Beth Riczko, Group Underwriting Leader and Product Leader

Beth assumed the role of Group Underwriter and Product Leader in 2014 and is responsible for leading functions that drive our understanding of risk and translating that knowledge into purposeful underwriting practices that deliver valuable products and services to Westfield's customers.

Beth joined Westfield in 2007 and previously served as the group analytics leader with responsibility for driving the execution of business, agent and customer analytics across the enterprise. Prior to joining Westfield, Beth operated her own insurance agency after spending several years with Ohio Casualty Group where she served in a number of senior leadership roles including, president of insurance operations, chief operating officer - personal lines division, chief actuary, senior vice president of finance and treasurer. In all, she possesses more than 25 years of financial, management and underwriting experience in the property-casualty insurance industry.

Beth earned her Master of Business Administration from Walden University and her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from Muhlenberg College. She is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, a Certified Management Accountant and a Certified Financial Manager. In addition, she holds 17 designations from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, including the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation.

Stuart Rosenberg, Group Administration Leader

Stuart is responsible for corporate oversight of Westfield Group’s information technology, customer service, hospitality operations and general services functions.

Stuart joined Westfield in 2002 and held a series of leadership positions in the information technology organization, including Group IT Leader, prior to his current role. Before Westfield, he was a management consultant with Diamond Management & Technology Consultants and Accenture.

Stuart earned a dual Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in History and Economics from the University of Michigan. He currently serves on the board of the Westfield Insurance Foundation and is a member of the IBM North America Insurance Advisory Council.




Craig Welsh, Group Distribution Leader

Craig assumed the role of Group Distribution Leader in 2013 and is responsible for providing enterprise-wide distribution oversight, including implementation of Westfield’s distribution strategy initiative, an ongoing effort to create value in relationships with agencies that are strongly aligned with Westfield and the evolving expectations of customers. Crain joined Westfield in 1993 and most recently served as AgriBusiness Division Leader. Previously, he served as a regional leader in AgriBusiness and also held several field marketing and underwriting roles earlier in his career at Westfield.

He earned a Master’s degree from Boston University and a BA in Economics and Government from West Virginia Wesleyan College. Craig holds the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter and Agribusiness & Farm Insurance Specialist designations.

Craig is a member of the West Virginia Wesleyan College Alumni Council, and serves on Boards for the Medina City Schools Foundation, the Ohio Chapter of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation and InVEST, an initiative led by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America to increase insurance literacy in high school students and to attract talent to the insurance industry.

Westfield Bank Leadership



Jon Park, Chairman and CEO, Westfield Bank

Jon assumed the role of Westfield Bank Chairman and CEO in 2010 after serving as Bank President since 2000. Jon led the growth of Westfield Bank from scratch to $1.1 billion and developed the Bank’s unique vision and customer value proposition. Prior to joining Westfield and Summit Bank, Jon was Chief Financial Officer for Financial Stocks, Inc. after serving as CFO for Signal Corp, Signal Bank.

Jon graduated from Miami University of Ohio and holds a CPA and a Series 65 Securities Law license. He is graduate of the 2011 Leadership Cleveland class. Jon’s community involvement has included the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, Medina City Schools Foundation, Medina County Economic Development Corporation and Leadership Medina County.

In addition to his role as Bank Chair and Bank Leader, he currently serves (or has served) on the boards of Ward Group, Westfield Foundation, Financial Stocks, Inc., Southern Title Insurance, the University of Akron Finance Department and two privately-held banks.
