Westfield supports human service programs that empower people to take control of their lives to work toward positive change.

It's all about choices.

For many people, each day is full of simple choices. They choose what to wear to work; whether or not they bring lunch or go out with friends; and whether or not to exercise and eat a balanced diet.

But for many people caught in this recession, their choices are not so simple. They want to work but can't find jobs. They wake up hungry, but have no food. They need shelter but can't afford rent. For others they are facing health issues that impact their ability to focus at work and some are not able to work and support their families.

This is where Westfield employees can make a difference, by choosing to participate in WeCare, Westfield employee giving program.

Speaking of choices, WeCare is about choices. Employees told us they wanted to give to those organizations that had impact on their families; they wanted the option to give to nonprofits that are aligned with their values and interests.

We are proud to offer WeCare, Westfield employee giving program. WeCare includes our long-time partner United Way providing critical human service programs but also includes partners who align with employee concern for health, wellness and hunger.

WeCare ... because our neighbors need our help now more than ever!

In 2011, Westfield employees have pledged to give nearly $110,000 to WeCare partners. Westfield Insurance Foundation helps employee donations go further with an additional $60,000 in donations.
