The Honda 200, presented by Westfield Insurance: The 2007 event, held July 20-22, 2007, was the first time an IndyCar series competed in Ohio, with over 70,000 spectators in attendance.
The IndyCar teams who competed in The Honda 200 raced around the 2.25 mile permanent road course in 85 fast-paced laps. The IndyCar series is the premier open-wheel series with an open cockpit. Scott Dixon won The Honda 200, his third consecutive victory in 2007. He raced in a car sponsored by Target and Chip Ganassi Racing. The Honda 200 was televised nationally on both ABC and ESPN 2.
