The ARMs (Agency Relationship Manager) position is established. The ARMs have a supportive role in Westfield's partnership with its agencies. This manager focuses on areas of agency performance, sales, profitability and planning, as well as identifying opportunities for the agency with Westfield. Agents and Westfield have worked together for over 150 years, and this is a relationship that Westfield does not take for granted.
In 2005, Westfield Insurance expands its sponsorship of Academic Challenge to include additional high school quiz shows, Pittsburg's Hometown High Q and Columbus's In the Know.
Other sponsorships include the Cleveland Cavaliers Straight A Allstars, honoring scholastic achievement in students K-8; Westfield Group Youth Theater Series at Cleveland's Playhouse Square Center; Medina County Performing Arts Foundation; and Westfield Cup, a national collegiate soccer tournament hosted at the University of Akron.
2005 marks the Surety Division's 50th anniversary of service in Westfield Insurance. The Surety Division has proven its success by being the number one surety company in Ohio and among the top 30 sureties in the United States.
Westfield Insurance sponsors the Westfield Insurance Studio Theatre, used for television and radio production, theater performances, meetings, workshops and classes, most of which will involve studio audiences supporting children?s educational programming. The theatre is part of the Idea Center, a technologically sophisticated education facility that provides content, programs and hands-on learning for schools and communities throughout Northeast Ohio.

In 2006, Westfield Insurance introduces a new product, Wespak Estate, to meet the needs of customers who own high-valued homes and possessions that require special coverage. Piloted in Ohio, the product becomes available in many Westfield states during 2007.

Property Casualty Insurers Association of America elects Westfield CEO Bob Joyce as first vice chairman for the 2007 term, confirming the strength of Westfield Insurance's reputation in the industry.
