1998

The rapidly changing insurance industry created a need for reliable outsourcing services for business processing and quality customer service. In 1998, Westfield Services, Inc. was formed to provide business processing solutions and data management for property/casualty and life carriers (including reinsurers) and offer a variety of outsourcing solutions to insurance agencies.

2000

The Company adopts the name Westfield Group^® as an umbrella over all Westfield companies, organizations and facilities and redefines its brand identity after extensive, year-long research obtaining input from agents, employees, and customers. Westfield Insurance ^® becomes the trade name for the insurance operations. The tagline, Sharing Knowledge. Building Trust.^®, coupled with a new innovative logo consisting of three stylized triangles in motion, underscores Westfield's long-standing commitment to relationships while embracing new developments and opportunities that result from collaboration and innovation.

2001

With financial modernization, financial and insurance firms are now permitted to offer a variety of investment services and insurance needs to their customers. As a result, Westfield Group^SM creates Westfield Bank^SM, to better serve its growing customer base.

Westfield Junior PGA Championship
Westfield Insurance partned with The PGA of America and Westfield Group Foundation to bring the first annual Westfield Junior PGA Championship to northern Ohio in 2001. As host and title sponsor, Westfield took the championship to a new level, earning national recognition as "the best event to play and attend in junior golf." Each summer, many of the world's best junior golfers compete on Westfield Group Country Club's South Course.

2002

Westfield Bank^SM dedicates its new home office in Westfield Center, bringing all bank employees together. The presence of the bank building speaks to the stability, permanence, and credibility of our banking business.
